Well its time that I take a mini-vacation and break from all this hussle and bussle. In the next few hours I will be in the friendly skies on Delta flying to the beautiful city of Miami.

Is Flav a "Coon"?
Is Flava Flav a "coon"? I recently asked myself this question after this article on SOHH.com

Apparently after his yearly rants on the Flavor of Love series and his recent stint on the primetime tv show "Under One Roof", several bloggers and media outlets have came to the conclusion that Flav is undeniably a COON. But you know me "Ms. You Go Right...I Go Left", beg to differ. Now before I start, I don't want people to think that I'll just let any comment fly. I won't. But I will let certain remarks regarding my race fly by because I know that their just jokes. It's ENTERTAINMENT! Richard Pryor, Damon Wayans, Dave Chapelle, Martin Lawrence, etc all have acted out of hand once and have joked about stereotypes. White people make fun of us, Black make fun of Whites. So what? It is what it is. Its been this way for a long time. But because Flav is (black as all out doors) grilled out, wear wack ass outfits, why do he have to be labeled as a coon. Like Chuck D stated, he's known Flav all his life. And he can vouch that the dude has acted this way always.
So media outlets and bloggers, take the word of someone that's closest to Flav. He ain't cooning!!! He's just being himself. Cooning is when a person KNOWS that they are acting out of character and poking at Blacks through stereotypes. Flav is in character, 24-7. So how the h*ll is he a "coon"?

Recently arriving in Cannes, the newly married Jay-Z and Beyonce are fashionably united in this hot nautical look. I realy like B's outfit (courtesy of Chanel). It's simple and not flashy. And it's cute how the two are rocking the same colors -navy blue. This kinda remind you of when you and your highschool boo used to rock the same colors and outfits...on yall way to snap a fewe HARRY pictures.
